Nushmia Khan, a documentary filmmaker, follows three Muslim women involved in the fashion industry: Dina Torkia, a YouTube star; Sadeel Allam, a successful blogger; and Maryam Basir, a bikini model. The result is a fascinating film, full of thoughtful opinions about faith, style, and the ways people use clothing to communicate.
"We as Muslim women have no room to judge each other," Khan wrote on her site. "By labeling and judging, we are stunting each other’s personal growth. We should not be focused on calling each other out, we should be focused on making it easy to grow as Muslims."
