Apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Supergirl star Calista Flockhart appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night, and host Jimmy Kimmel began by asking the actress about her famous husband, Harrison Ford. "How is Harrison? Is he in Star Wars land?" he asked. "Is he off promoting and stalking about things?"

"He is," Flockhart said. "He is currently in Australia."

"We talk all the time," she added. "He's learning how to text."

Flockhart, 51, then demonstrated how Ford, 73, composes his text messages, and let's just say he's not the fastest. Still, she's happy to hear from Ford. "He's getting better," she said. Asked if he uses emojis, she replied, "No. He says, 'Where'd you get that picture from?' It's really bad."

Kimmel told Flockhart that when Ford has appeared on the show, he gets a feeling that "he really likes me but he never shows it in any way." Perhaps that was wishful thinking on his part.

"It's funny because I was just talking to him and I said, 'You know, I'm going to do Jimmy Kimmel.' And he said, 'Yeah…yeah, I don't know about that guy,'" Flockhart explained. "And then he said, 'I remember the last time you were on Jimmy Kimmel, Calista. Yeah, I remember.'"

Kimmel knew exactly what Ford was referring to during his conversation with Flockhart. "In fact, people sometimes ask me what from the show is your most embarrassing moment, that is the first thing that usually pops to mind, the last time that you were here," he told his guest.

The two then reviewed a clip of Flockhart's last appearance on Feb. 26, 2009. "We have a clip here. Do you want to set the clit up—clip up?" Kimmel asked at the time. Red in the face, the host told a giggling Flockhart, "You go ahead and set it up. I'm going to sit under the desk."

After re-watching it, Kimmel joked, "I stayed under there for like a month."

"It's Harrison's fault!" he added. "He brought it up."

"My heart is pounding," Flockhart admitted. "This is so awkward."

Tell it to Ford.
