PORTSMOUTH, RI — Police arrested three suspects for drunken driving. One person was taken into custody on a bench warrant. Two suspects were also accused of drug offenses.

Evan Hathaway Moore, 19, of Portsmouth, was stopped at 1:53 a.m. near Boyd's Lane. He was charged with Driving under the influence, and Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

May 13
Barry Matthews Almeida, 49, of New Bedford, Mass., was stopped at 8:40 p.m. on West Main Road near Raytheon. He was charged with felony drug possession; and with three misdemeanors and a violation for Driving under the influence; Driving after his license was denied, Violating a protective order; and Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Kyle Calob Schwartz, 26, of Middletown, was stopped at 8:31 p.m. for speeding on West Main Road near Raytheon. He was charged with Driving after his license was denied, and with Possession of Marijuana, first offense.
May 17
Jaevin Lee Milhouse, 20, of Rumford, was arrested at 1:49 p.m, on West Main Road and Prescott. He was stopped for not wearing a seat belt, but police discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant.
May 18
Edward Alexander Blaine, 36, of Philadelphia, Pa., was stopped at 1:42 a.m. on West Main Road near Prescott Point. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense, and with Refusal to submit to a chemical test.
