Rebels converted a big third-and-8 early in the drive after being stuck in the mud for a few possessions. Ole Miss 27, Alabama 27 with 1:47 left in the quarter. Halftime: Ole Miss 24, Alabama 17

Alabama and Ole Miss don't disappoint. After falling down three touchdowns, the Tide found the end zone twice in a 1:05-span.

A kickoff out of bounds after the Rebels went up 24-3 helped kickstart a short 50-yard touchdown drive. The following 3-and-out punt was returned 85 yards by Eddie Jackson and it's almost a whole new ballgame.

Ole Miss had the lead, but Alabama ran to the locker room with fans standing to cheer. Momentum certainly swung in a big way.

Jalen Hurts is 16-for-23 with 89 passing yards. He also has 52 net rushing yards including a crucial 22-yarder in the first touchdown drive.

Alabama gets the ball to start the second half. Buckle up.

Second quarter: Ole Miss 24, Alabama 17

-- Just like that, Alabama scored a second touchdown in a minute. Eddie Jackson's 85-yard punt return celebration was muted by two flags. Both, however, were on Ole Miss. Suddenly a big hole is down to a single touchdown. Now Ole Miss 24, Alabama 17.

-- A big 30-yard pass to Gehrig Dieter was followed by a pass slipping out of Hurts' hands. It's been the story of the day. Positive play followed quickly by equally negative.

-- Joshua Jacobs getting some serious time. His 25-yard run is the longest play of the day so far for the Tide. False start, third of the day, kills the drive and JK Scott boots an 8-yard punt. Has to be shortest of the career.

-- The pace has slowed as drives from both sides have stalled. Alabama is out-gaining the Rebels 95-87 with 13:44 left in the half. Hurts got away with a poor pass deep in his own territory that should have been picked off.
