If you're a guy who prefers up-tempo golf to a lax atmosphere, Michael Jordan may have the solution to your problem. There really are no caveats. Oh wait, except for one, you may need millions of dollars to solve it.

Sick of sitting around instead of playing through, the NBA Hall of Famer and shoe logo is reportedly mulling the idea of building a course near his home in Florida so exclusive that the only people who will be allowed to play will have had to be selected by MJ himself.

According to Golf.com (who, we assume, would know a thing or two about golf) an industry insider claims Michael is fed up with the pace of play at Jack Nicklaus's Bears Club saying that:

“Michael likes to play fast and he can’t stand it when people won’t let him through. That happens enough out there that he’s gotten fed up.”

The kicker is that the club's already pretty damned exclusive with a membership buy-in of nearly $100,000 and only a "few hundred" members who've even ponied up the dough for that access.

Still, Jordan's demeanor on the links is apparently as speedy as it is a-holish. A source who played with Jordan broke it down as:

“He just steps up, hits, chews your ear off with smack talk and off he goes. If he knows the guys he’s with, he will not even wait. He’ll drive up to the green as you’re back in the fairway hitting. And if it’s up to him, his foursome will finish in two-hours and 40 minutes.”

Actually, this sounds like it could be a pretty mutually beneficial move.
