The 5-by-14-by-100-inch Kwik-E-Mart mixes the iconic exterior with a detailed interior (see the photo below).
When the store is folded open you can see shelves and freezer cases full of items (“yesterday’s food at tomorrow’s prices”), that Squishee machine, a magazine rack, two pay phones, a cash register and other stuff.
It also comes with six minifigures, including an exclusive-to-this-set Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Marge Simpson, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Chief Wiggum and Snake Jailbird. Plus, Chief Wiggum comes with his own police car.
The toy company had great success last year with its first round of Lego Simpsons products, including a Simpsons house and 13 minifigures.
Lego will be showing off the set at SXSW, which kicks off in Austin, Texas, on Thursday and runs through March 22.
