Update, 12/19: While the The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William's Christmas card is the epitome of holiday joy—much in thanks to a super spirited Prince George—taking a closer look at the photo shows that the family's idyllic portrait is actually perfectly imperfect.
And it's all because of the ever-adorable (and apparently strong-willed) Princess Charlotte who decided she'd kick off her shoe for the shot:
Original post, 12/18: Kate Middleton and Prince William have been extra kind this holiday season, giving the gift of not just one new batch of royal baby photos, but two. The couple's family portrait was released this morning, featuring KMidd, Wills, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte. All wear Christmas card-perfect smiles:
And look at Prince George, with that sassy bent leg and Gerber baby giggle.

The real star of the card...though Charlotte's scheming smirk suggests next year there will be competition.
