EXCLUSIVE: Ex-girlfriend of NRL star Bryce Cartwright found dead in her home - seven months after she 'posted revenge porn of the footballer online and threatened to kill him'

The ex-girlfriend of NRL star Bryce Cartwright has been found dead at her Sydney home, Daily Mail Australia can reveal.

Brittany Hura's body was discovered on Monday night at a property in Constitution Hill in the city's west. The 25-year-old's death is not being treated as suspicious.  

The tragedy comes just seven months after Ms Hura was charged with harassing and stalking the Penrith Panthers star on social media.

NSW Police told Daily Mail Australia a 25-year-old woman was found dead at about 6.30pm, though it is not yet known how she died.

Tributes from heartbroken friends and family of Ms Hura, the ex-girlfriend of NRL star Bryce Cartwright, have flooded social media

'A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death and a report prepared to the coroner,' a spokeswoman said.

Tributes from heartbroken friends and family flooded social media on Wednesday, mourning a 'beautiful girl' taken from the world too soon. 

'RIP Brinney Hura, condolences to all her whanau [family]. Too soon and so young... rest easy gurl,' a friend wrote on Facebook. 

'My poor niece,' her aunt Lea Kelz Tiepa said, assuring friends and family that she would keep them updated on funeral arrangements. 

Another tribute read: 'I am so grateful to have had you in my corner when I needed people the most.

'You were my staunch supporter and I will never forget the funny, unique woman you were. This is why I will never, ever stay silent, for all the girls who need it most.'

The NRL star's cousin, Bronte Cartwright, told Daily Mail Australia she was shocked by Ms Hura's sudden death.

'I didn't know her all that well except from family occasions but, she was a part of the family at one point so it's very, very sad,' Ms Cartwright said.

'Even with everything that happened between [her] and my cousin Bryce, she's still a person.'  

Ms Hura's lawyer Paul Cramer, who represented her in court after nude photos of the Panthers second-rower were leaked last year, said he was 'shattered' by the death of his friend.

'It's absolutely devastating and shattering... it's tragic,' he told Daily Mail Australia. 

'I've known her for quite some time before she was my client, I worked with her in a bar for a few years. My condolences to her family.'

Ms Hura and Cartwright dated for six years before reportedly having a nasty split over another woman

She allegedly posted a 'revenge porn' photo of Cartwright taking a selfie while he posed completely nude in front of a mirror. 

Ms Hura shared another photograph to social media showing a tattoo which reads 'Bryce' that had the letters 'R.I.P' freshly added underneath it. 

She also allegedly published videos - which have since been deleted - threatening to kill Cartwright and claiming he was unable to 'pleasure' women.

'I'm not mentally f***** up I'm just laughing at you... you're going to be dead soon,' she reportedly said in the video.  

Police took out an apprehended violence order on behalf of Cartwright, ordering Hura to stay 250 metres from him as part of her bail conditions.

Ms Hura agreed to the AVO and did not enter a plea at her December court appearance.

Mr Cramer at the time asked that the matter be adjourned under the Mental Health Act.

Ms Hura and Cartwright dated for six years before reportedly having a nasty split over another woman.

In a lengthy post explaining the breakup, Ms Hura claimed to stand for 'all women' and that men 'should not be able to get away with this'.

'You can call me a slag, crazy, psycho, liar or b****... but is that honestly fair?' she wrote.

Meanwhile, Cartwright made headlines earlier this year after it was revealed another woman was allegedly paid $50,000 to abort a child fathered by the rugby league star. 

The 24-year-old woman, known only as Miss X, claimed to have dated Cartwright for several months in 2016.

Miss X, who said she was against abortion, claimed she fell pregnant to Cartwright and had the termination in November because she felt she had no other choice.

'I felt I had no other option than to get rid of the baby, the pressure was relentless,' she told The Daily Telegraph at the time. 

A contract was reportedly drawn-up before the procedure stating the pregnancy would be terminated by agreement of both parties and Cartwright would pay Miss X the $50,000.
