Liveblog: Google’s I/O Keynote

I/O is Google's biggest show of the year, and it's pretty much the only time that Googlers come out en masse and let us know what they've been working on.

The highlight of Google I/O is always the keynote, where the compamy drops the biggest news of the show in one whirlwind press conference. Sometimes there are BMX-riding skydivers, sometimes there are big Rube Goldberg Machines, but it's always a party. This year, the keynote is scheduled for two-and-a-half hours, so bring a snack and make sure you've got a comfy chair.

We'll be there to cover all the festivities. The keynote starts Thursday, May 28 at 9:30am PT (other time zones here), though we'll probably kick things off a few minutes earlier than that. Be sure to tune in!

And if you're wondering what's in store for the show, we have a massive 7,000-word preview right here. We're expecting the next version of Android—Android M—to be the highlight of Google I/O, and we're sure there will be some surprises.
