Netflix and Chill! A Dating Game Comedy Show

Davis Square Theatre hosts an interactive comedy show where audience members participate in a dating game. Figure out if you’re compatible with your significant other—even if it doesn’t work out in your favor, you can still laugh about it because it’s a comedy show. Figment 2016

All weekend long, the Rose Kennedy Greenway turns into a giant free arts festival that includes music, dance, and participatory art projects. Go ready to make something cool. (Saturday, July 30 at 11 a.m. to Sunday, July 31 at 6 p.m.; Rose Kennedy Greenway; free; all ages)

Boston Got Sole

Boston’s sneakerhead community comes together for one of the area’s biggest sneaker conventions. This will feature a basketball tournament, raffles, and giveaways, and is hosted by local rapper Michael Christmas. (Saturday, July 30 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center; $20-$25; all ages)

Festival at the Farm

Some of today’s funkiest touring bands take to the lush fields of Prowse Farm in Canton for an afternoon of dancing, local beer, and farm-to-table food from b.good. It’s like one of those camping music festivals, except you can sleep in your own bed rather than next to a bunch of smelly people. (Saturday, July 30 at 1 p.m.; Prowse Farm; $15-$120; all ages)

Hull Harbor Illumination Festival

Sit back and enjoy a colorful parade of lit-up boats and an illumination of 1,000 flares on the shoreline of Hull Bay. (Saturday, July 30 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; L St. in Hull; free; all ages)

Your Friends Fest

ONCE Somerville is keeping it in the neighborhood by hosting a big lineup of local bands, comedians, and vendors. You can groove, laugh, and purchase all in the same place. (Saturday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m.; ONCE Somerville; $12; all ages)

Brooklyn Boulders Third Birthday Party

Did you know that you can do much more than climb walls at Brooklyn Boulders? The Somerville climbing gym is celebrating its third birthday by hosting local breweries, breakdancers, interactive art, live sets from Vundabar and The Indobox, and much more. (Saturday, July 30 at 8 p.m.; Brooklyn Boulders; $10-$12; all ages)

Third Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival

It’s been a hot summer, but you know what’s cool? Jazz. Danehy Park in Cambridge hosts a an impressive lineup that includes saxophonist Walter Beasley, guitarist Russell Malone, and saxophonist Bill Pierce. (Sunday, July 31 at 12 p.m.; Danehy Park; free; all ages)

Roaring Twenties Lawn Party

Have you been saving your argyles for the proper occasion? Consider this lawn party at Castle Hill on Crane Estate in Ipswich—featuring live music, dance lessons, games, and more—to be the perfect opportunity. (Sunday, July 31 at 3 p.m.; Castle Hill on Crane Estate; $32-$40; all ages)

Summer Carnival Party
