Despite the fact that Sony has absolutely no plans to release The Interview in any way anytime soon, a new promo just popped up on YouTube. Somewhere out there, a PR intern is about to have a very, very bad day.

Update 7:22pm: Sony has taken down the video, but you can watch a clip from the original promo above.

The clip, which bears the unfortunate tagline of "In Franco & Rogen we trust," was more likely than not an overlooked, pre-scheduled event, considering that releasing a promo for a movie Sony has just pulled from every movie theater in the country was probably not in its immediate plans.

Of course, there is always the possibility that, for whatever reason, Sony did actively decide that, yes, now would be a good time to release this promo clip for the movie we just canceled. In which case, good for Sony I guess? At this point, who knows. Either way, the video's summary makes absolutely no mention of any of the drama surrounding the now-cancelled release, so more likely than not, a PR intern somewhere is about to suffer dearly.

You can read the now-removed promo's description in its entirety below.

Only one movie has the whole world talking. In Rogen and Franco we trust.
