Anne Hathaway takes on James Corden in TV rap battle – watch

The 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' showed off her rhyming skills on 'The Late Late Show'

Anne Hathaway took on James Corden in a rap battle on his The Late Late Show programme last night (May 25).

The actor, who is promoting her new movie Alice Through The Looking Glass delivered a series of verses dissing the show’s host, after he compared the battle to the feud between Drake and Meek Mill.

Hathaway rapped along to a beat, with lines including “I can’t make fun of you, James, cos no one’s heard of you” and “Blimey guv’nor, did my accent make you sick? Are you also allergic to wearing suits that fit?”

She finished the battle by telling Corden: “Now you know how it feels to get Hathaslayed”.

It’s not the first time Hathaway has shown off her comic skills. Last year, she recreated the video for Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ on Lip Sync Battle.

Hathaway mouthed along to Cyrus’ chart-topping pop ballad before hopping onto a real-life wrecking ball. Once astride the swinging orb, Hathaway continued her lip-sync and even “flipped the bird” at her fellow guest on the show, Emily Blunt, with whom she co-starred in The Devil Wears Prada.
