When pondering actors to portray a couple of sparring teachers in a presumably adult-friendly comedy, your first choices are likely Ice Cube and Charlie Day. Next year's Fist Fight has managed to secure both of those dudes for an after-school brawl movie which, judging by its first trailer, might very well be worth a watch.

Fist Fight, directed by It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia alum Richie Keen, centers on high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) as he struggles to survive amid school budget cuts and the prospect of losing his job. When Campbell crosses paths with his co-worker Ron Strickland (Ice Cube), the stakes get much higher as an after-school fight between them is proposed and quickly becomes a hashtagged phenomenon.

Tracy Morgan also stars in the comedy, which marks his first major movie role since the tragic 2014 traffic collision that took the life of fellow comedian, and Morgan's friend, Jimmy Mack. Fist Fight also boasts appearances from Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Jillian Bell (Workaholics), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), and JoAnna Garcia Swisher (The Mindy Project).

The next few years will continue being very kind to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans. In addition to Day's appearance in this probable blockbuster, dude's also locked in for at least 2 more seasons of the long-running comedy series. "Few shows make it this far or have such devoted fans, and we owe it all to the creative vision and great humor of the creators and cast who keep Sunny fresh and inventive every season," FX Networks' Nick Grad, co-boss of original programming, said when announcing the renewal back in April.

Fist Fight hits theaters Feb. 17.
