Morris Peterson bringing third annual Back-to-School Backpack Program to Flint

FLINT, MI - Former Michigan State star and NBA veteran Morris Peterson is bringing his third annual Back-to-School Backpack Program to Flint.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, parents can bring their kids to St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church for free backpacks, haircuts, bounce houses, food, games, face painting, community information and educational booths.

The items will be distributed on a first come basis by the Morris Peterson Jr. Foundation in collaboration with St. Mark, United Way of Genesee County, Hurley Medical Center and Krave Marketing.
