Seeing as Microsoft has its own marketing deals with EA and Activision for FIFA 15 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare respectively, the company will have a chance to even the playing field sooner rather than later.
Activision announced earlier this week that Destiny is the best-selling new game franchise of all time, raking in more than $325 million USD during the shooter's first five days of release.
