From the downright decadent to the perfectly classic, here are 15 restaurants serving some super versions of the dish. We focused mainly on the beefy ones but check out some twists with veggie and otherwise.

You'll have to wait for this one on Staten Island. It hails from Kettle Black coming this early fall to West Brighton where Afternoone's Restaurant once was at 415 Forest Ave., West Brighton.

Urby Eats presents a few versions of burgers.

This is the "Veggie" version with roasted vegetables, quinoa, and whole black beans.
