Man Cited in Las Vegas Ferris Wheel Sex Case Slain in Texas

Phillip Frank Panzica and a New York woman were arrested Feb. 5 for allegedly having sex on a Las Vegas ferris wheel

Two men have been charged with killing a Texan who recently was cited for having sex on a Ferris wheel in Las Vegas, according to Houston police.

Police said the suspects were being held Monday on capital murder charges in the shooting death of Houston resident Phillip Frank Panzica.

Bryant Christopher Watts and Aaron Jones, both of Dallas, were captured in Concho County, 300 miles away, in a car belonging to Panzica's fiancée.

Police said the three men and Panzica's fiancée left an adult entertainment club in Houston where the fiancée works early Saturday. The fiancée told police that Watts shot Panzica, kicked her from the car then drove off.

Police are seeking a motive in Saturday's slaying.

Bond and attorney information wasn't immediately available for the suspects.

Panzica and a New York woman were arrested Feb. 5 on charges of committing sex acts in public on the High Roller in Las Vegas.
