Saturday Night Live’s 40th season went out with a bang this past weekend thanks in part to the controversial monologue Louis C.K. gave, marking it the second time in two weeks that SNL has made headlines—Last week it was accused of plagiarizing its “Draw Muhammad” sketch. Just last year SNL was accused of ripping off a Groundlings sketch.
So it seemed fitting that this week’s cut sketch saw Kyle Mooney’s dopey Bruce Chandling accusing Louis C.K. of stealing his “moronic” “unoriginal” jokes. A laughable thought, right? Wrong! Watch Louis creep on Chandling and come to a life altering realization.
