CLEVELAND, Ohio - Western Reserve School of Cooking will hold a cocktail primer called, appropriately enough, "M is for Mixology."

It's 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 25.

The class will guide attendees on the five main spirit categories - vodka, gin, rum, tequila and whiskey - and teach how to create five popular cocktails:

* Moscow Mule

* Martini

* Mojito

* Margarita

* Manhattan

You'll also learn the history of how the drinks were created.

Joseph DeLuca will guide the class. He writes Dr. Drink's Traveling Apothecary Show blog and is a certified specialist of spirits.

Register for the class, which is at Kitchen 216, 2800 Euclid Ave., No. 100, Cleveland.
