BISMARCK — The National Federation of Independent Business is scheduled to bring their NFIB and Visa Small Business Economic Roadshow to North Dakota.
The NFIB is scheduled to host the panel discussion from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Radisson in Bismarck. Holly Wade of the NFIB research center and Michael Brown, Visa's principal U.S. economist, will discuss where the economy stands as the nation rebounds from the pandemic.
Topics of discussion will include consumer spending trends, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages and more, a news release stated. Wade and Brown will also discuss the economic outlook, compare this recession to others and explain small businesses' role in the economic recovery.
