A crash on Interstate 65 closed both sides of the roadway on Sunday afternoon.
According to Trooper Curtis Summerville, there was a crash with multiple vehicles on I-65 southbound near mile marker 336.
The crash happened on the Tennessee River Bridge around 3:50 p.m. One vehicle went over the bridge.
Summerville said there is one fatality.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of the interstate are closed right now.
