Gerald Green had his hair braided into a shamrock for his Celtics return

Gerald Green is back with the Celtics, and, if his hair is any indication, he’s happy to be in Boston.

For the Celtics’ season opener against the Nets Wednesday at TD Garden, Green got his hair braided into a shamrock. The look took an hour and a half to complete, according to MassLive.

Green was draft by Boston in 2005 and then traded to the Timberwolves in July 2007 in the deal for Kevin Garnett. The Celtics signed him as a free agent this summer.
