Walkon Trevor Sweeney was surprised with a scholarship during practice in training camp. Sweeney is a special teams standout that plays with ELITE passion at every opportunity. His heartwork, dedication, and sacrifice for the program was recognized with a full ride scholarship with Bronco Football.

I know I said watching videos of walk-ons getting surprised with scholarships and getting mobbed by their teammates would never get old, but that doesn’t mean switching it up and spicing it up a little bit doesn’t work too. Having a dude recover his own scholarship during onside kick drills is certainly an exciting new twist.

PS – Took the guy kind of a long time to realize the football he just tracked down, covered up and is now holding in his hand was wrapped up in paper right?
