A website report that the Escambia County Sheriff's Office made arrests in the "Flomo Klown" incident early Friday morning involving Flomaton High School was not accurate, according to police.

The Brewton Standard updated their report around noon on Friday saying there were arrest warrants in the case, but they have not yet been served. "Sources say the suspects have been identified as three juveniles and one adult," the report reads.

The ECSO sent out a press release with updated information on the case Friday afternoon.

Cryptic posts on the "Flomo Klowns" Facebook page led to concerns of a threat against area schools earlier this week. On Thursday, the Escambia County School District put Flomaton High School and Flomaton Elementary School in Atmore on lockdown for part of the day.

At the time there were rumors that the clowns had been sighted near the schools, but Escambia County Schools Superintendent John Knott said that report was inaccurate.
