Woman badly injured in Chesterfield dog attack

Police and paramedics were called to a house on Boythorpe Road shortly after 7.20pm tonight (Thursday) to reports a man and a woman had been injured by their dogs.

They were both taken to hospital for treatment.

The woman is described as being badly injured while the man is in a less serious condition.

Police have seized three dogs from the house and two will be destroyed. The other dog is being kennelled while investigations continue.
