Reuse Spent K-Cups as Seed Starters for Your Spring Garden

While K-Cups can make brewing a cup of coffee super easy, the downside is that you can't recycle them whole. Instead of tossing them in the garbage, you can turn them into perfect little seed starters for your spring garden.

If you're the kind of person that hates to waste things, this seed starter setup from Lisa at her blog Fresh Eggs Daily tells you everything you need to know to get your own collection of starter seeds going. You'll need some coffee K-Cups (the tea ones won't work because you need the filter inside), a tray to set them all out, some soil, and some seeds to grow. You can easily label each K-Cup as well, making it easier to know which seedling is which. If you're wondering what to do with the leftover coffee grounds, you can incorporate those as well. Check out the guide below for complete instructions.
