But one shelled delicacy in particular holds a place in the spotlight. Oyster bars are a big part of the Boston restaurant scene. And while they’ve been around for a while (just ask Union Oyster House, which has been in operation since 1826), they’ve recently experienced a renaissance. “Oyster bars are definitely a trend,” Jeff Nace, a co-owner of Neptune Oyster in the North End, told The New York Times
in 2014.
So which of the city’s many oyster destinations is the most popular?
