A Twinsburg High School student punched his principal in the face on stage after accepting his diploma.

A shocking video shared on YouTube shows a student, that has been identified as disabled, punching a high school principal during a high school graduation ceremony. See the video below:

Kathryn Powers, the Twinsburg City School District’s Superintendent, provided a statement to Cleveland 19 regarding the incident:

“On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, the Class of 2017 graduated from Twinsburg High School. During the Commencement exercises an unfortunate incident occurred, involving the high school principal and a graduating senior, who is a student identified with a disability. Neither the high school principal nor the student were seriously injured. The student is now a graduate of the Class of 2017 and the Twinsburg City School District wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.”
