Bruce Jenner has said that, of all his kids, Khloé Kardashian had the "toughest time" dealing with the news that he was transitioning into a woman.

And now we're getting to see what transpired from Khloé's perspective.

On part 1 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce, airing tonight at 9 p.m. on E!, Khloé and Kendall Jenner zero in on one of their biggest fears when it comes to his journey and have a heated exchange about the level of honesty they expect from him, versus the one they feel they've been given.

(At this time, Bruce Jenner has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)

At his Malibu home, Bruce reassures them that he's "not going anywhere," that he still plans on being there for everybody after he starts living life as a woman, but the girls admit that the idea that the Bruce that they've always known won't exist anymore is upsetting.

"[I] think it's just scary when someone says that Bruce is going to be ‘gone' and you're not going to be like you anymore," Kendall admits tearfully.

"I never said that Bruce is going to be gone," Jenner protests, insisting, "I'll probably be closer to you."

"We want you to do what makes you happy," Khloé insists heatedly. "We all do, and we're going to support you and be there for you, but you have to be honest with us, even if it hurts you, ‘cause it's going to hurt all of us.

"But this hurts us more," she adds, referring to what feels to them like a lack of honesty on Bruce's part.

This footage was shot before Bruce's interview with Diane Sawyer, when he went public with the news that he was transitioning.

In the clip, Bruce admits that sometimes talking to his family about his journey is more difficult than talking to strangers about it—watch and see just what he means.
