Kate Beckinsale, Jeremy Piven, Peter Krause and Paula Patton will have to set their alarm clocks rather early on Dec. 11.
The foursome has been tapped to announce the nominees for the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, joining Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Theo Kingma, Dick Clark Productions’ executive producer Barry Adelman, and Miss Golden Globe Greer Grammer at the before-sunrise event on Thursday.

The first group of nominees will be announced at 5:20 a.m. PT, with a second group slated to be announced during a live broadcast on The Today Show at 5:38 a.m. PT from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The nominations announcement — to cover film and television nominees in 25 categories — will stream on GoldenGlobes.com and HFPA.org. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the big show from the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the third year in a row. The Golden Globe Awards air on NBC on Jan. 11, 2015.
Of the four actors who will announce the nominees, Piven is the sole winner. He picked up a Golden Globe in 2008 for his role on Entourage. Krause has been nominated two times.
