CyHi The Prynce knows how frustrating the waiting game can be. The Atlanta rapper gives fans a glimpse into the writer life with a video for his song "Long Damn Time" produced by Jonathan Hay. The talented MC is seen pacing around the studio in an effort to come up with the right rhymes before jumping in the booth.

"It’s the mind state of the crime rate/Nobody told you, you and the devil had a blind date//On the road to success you gotta read what the signs say/Shit, I had to grind late for this prime steak/I went from riding dirty in the Hyundai/Through the PJs, now it’s PJs with Kanye," CyHi The Prynce raps.

The song's title unfortunately describes how long CyHi The Prynce has been waiting for his debut album to drop. CyHi The Prynce has mostly been relegated to one of Kanye West's go-to writers instead of getting to put out his own work.

CyHi The Prynce's frustrations boiled over last year when he dropped a single called "Elephant in the Room." The song featured CyHi going at Kanye and much of the G.O.O.D. Music roster while reflecting on his black sheep status.

Things were looking up earlier this year when CyHi The Prynce got word that his LP was a priority. The rapper shared a text message from Kanye which said CyHi's album would drop in the next two months. But that message was sent back in March, so plans obviously went awry.
