As Twitchy reported earlier Wednesday, Piers Morgan decided yet again that the Constitution of the United States would be a lot better if America just followed his advice and tweaked the First and Second Amendments a little bit more, “to ban Nazis & reduce gun deaths.”
US Constitution bans shouting 'fire!' in a theater, but allows armed Nazis to spew hateful, violent, racist, anti-Semitic rhetoric.
Absurd.— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 16, 2017
Normally we’d leave it at that, but the back-and-forth that ensued almost made the last five days of wall-to-wall media coverage of Charlottesville and the aftermath worth enduring. Remember the time Shapiro tried to hand Morgan a copy of the Constitution, which Morgan tossed aside as Shapiro’s “little book”? We do, and we’re not alone.
Piers' understanding of the Constitution was made very clear when he tossed a copy of the book at @benshapiro, calling it "his little book."

He really should have kept that copy.
It remains unlawful to incite a violent reaction with false claims. I know my US law, rather better than you it would seem. https://t.co/z6PhvRUIgx

No. No, you really don't. You sound like a bot programmed at Radio Shack to say vaguely legal things.

Yes, your degree from "America's Got Talent" gives you more legal expertise than mine from Harvard Law School. https://t.co/i5WMFK2VBq

You should have read the Constitution I gave you instead of yelling at me for brandishing my "little book." https://t.co/i5WMFK2VBq pic.twitter.com/cWKGBhGvPo

I prefer my copies of the Constitution to be big & bold not embarrassingly puny.
I have similar preferences for right wing pundits. https://t.co/NeVsefWPxi— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 16, 2017
Understood. Next time I'll bring one with giant child-sized print so you can read/drool on it. https://t.co/iMwah6R53w

Mate, no disrespect but we Brits consider American law schools to be somewhere south of Dumb & Dumber in terms of intellect. https://t.co/RFyM6aiCsj
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) August 16, 2017
That's okay. We Americans think British buffoons like you aren't even fit to retain shows on CNN. https://t.co/awHO4Y3gA7
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) August 16, 2017
Mate, I retained a place on US prime TV for 9yrs. You couldn't even retain a blogging gig at Breitbart. ?? https://t.co/uMMxb8Tsf3

Do I really need to make another "America's Got Talent" reference? https://t.co/zGITfNsCDo

And the TKO:
There is a rather large difference between resigning and being fired. You've been fired a lot, you should know. https://t.co/zGITfNsCDo

This never ends well for you @piersmorgan https://t.co/V9f8lb3GrI

We really do miss Piers Morgan’s CNN show … at least when Shapiro was on as his guest.
