Eagles' Wentz finishes 2016 season among top 3 in NFL jersey sales

A trio of rookies have the three most-sold jerseys in the National Football League this season, including Bismarck native and current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, according to  nflshop.com.

Wentz finished with the third-highest number of jerseys sold this season.

He was edged out by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Wentz, Prescott and Elliott are also in the running for this year's Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year award,  which is voted on by the fans and given out the day before the Super Bowl.

According to  nflshop.com , Wentz had the highest-selling jersey in North Dakota, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
