Bethlehem road shut down for six weeks

A portion of Chelsea Avenue in Bethlehem will be closed for six weeks starting on Monday.

The road is being reconstructed as part of the construction of the 30-unit Chelsea Commons apartment building, which is being built at the corner of Chelsea Avenue and Greenwich Street.

Chelsea Avenue will be closed completely between Elizabeth Avenue and Greenwich Street during the reconstruction.

A full detour will be posted utilizing Center and Greenwich streets, according to the city.
