Watch: What "AHS" Cast Will Miss Most About Jessica Lange

Like it or not, Jessica Lange is sitting American Horror Story: Hotel out. Yes, the fourth season, Freak Show, was Lange's last...as a full-time cast member (Hey, we believe in the power of Ryan Murphy and think she may pop up once). Lange's been at the center of every season since the start, having played a ghostly neighbor, a wicked nun, a bitchy witch and a prostitute who owned a freak show and then became a TV star. Viewers are going to miss her, and so is the cast.

We caught up with the American Horror Story: Freak Show cast to discuss all things Jessica Lange and shocker (we're saying shocker sarcastically in case that wasn't evident), in the video above, they had nothing but nice things to say about the exiting star. Many praised her talent, which is of course celebrated. Lange has taken home two Oscars, five Golden Globes, three Emmys and a Screen Actors Guild award.

"Jessica's a phenomenal actor. She's also a phenomenal ensemble player. I mean that in the best sense. When you went into a scene with her, you felt like you were equal and that she took your opinion seriously and she was game for everything. She made you rise up to her level always," Denis O'Hare told us.

Sarah Paulson probably said it best. "What's not to miss? Look at her," she said turning to look at Lange walk the red carpet. "There's nothing not to miss."

In a recent interview, Lange praised the cast and show and said "they'll continue and it'll be great."

"You know, when I originally agreed to do this, it was for one season. (I thought) 'This will be interesting to try this. I've never done this kind of television before.' Then I had such a great time doing it the first year, when they approached me to do it again I thought, 'Well OK, maybe we can do it season to season.' Instead, I agreed to do three more seasons," she told Deadline. "And that was fine because I've had just such a great time doing it. I have no regrets or second thoughts about that decision. But there's always an end to everything."

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres this October, without Jessica Lange, but with Paulson, Evan Peters, Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson and Chloë Sevigny.
