Stripper golf bash on public N.J. course exposed in undercover report (VIDEO)

WAYNE - A television news crew spotted more than freshly cut grass and caddies on a county-owned golf course.

According to News 4, strippers and golfers took part in a lewd golf outing at the Preakness Valley course in July.

And it wasn't the first time.

According to the report, the event was sponsored by the Sunrise Gentleman's Club of Paterson and offered a day of golf and girls for $195 per person. Police and firefighters were offered a discount.

Blurred-out images appear to show golfers and strippers engaged in lap dances, groping and other physical contact on the course.

Money raised went to charitable causes, including the Dallas Police Department and those recovering from the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, according to the report.

"My understanding is that this isn't the first time that this tournament took place here," County Administrator Anthony De Nova told News 4 after he viewed undercover video taken of the July outing.

"I can say it's going to be the last time," De Nova said.

Neighbors were upset because some of the activity was clearly visible from outside the golf course, which is located in both Wayne and Totowa.

The report says anybody who passed the course along Totowa Road and Riverview Drive could have seen the activity.

"It's a family neighborhood and that's a public golf course," one man living nearby told News 4.

De Nova said the county is taking a closer look at how the event could have been held on a county-owned course.
