Mackin' with the Maddens!

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden managed to keep a low profile after getting hitched on Jan. 5, but on Tuesday, the newlyweds threw caution to the wind when the L.A. Lakers' Kiss Cam zeroed in on them. The Other Woman actress, 42, and the Good Charlotte rocker, 35, lit up when they noticed their faces were being broadcast on the Jumbotron. Diaz took the lead and planted a passionate kiss on Madden. The musician then raised his hand and cupped his wife's face, gazing into her eyes as Diaz pulled away.

The couple's friends, movie producer David Katzenberg and model Stellina B, raised their beer cups to say "cheers" as the crowd inside the Staples Center went wild. After the game, Katzenberg tweeted, "Always great catching up with @DeSeanJackson11 & @benjaminmadden! #smallworld #chattycathy."

Diaz and Madden weren't good luck charms, though. Their team lost to the Washington Wizards 98-92.

Tuesday's outing marked Diaz and Madden's first public appearance as a married couple, though they were photographed leaving the Four Seasons Hotel Sunday after brunch with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

The newlyweds recently returned home from their honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Diaz and Madden stayed at a luxury cabin at the Shooting Star resort last week, according to People. And, as E! News previously reported, they enjoyed a date night at Q Roadhouse and Brewing Co. on Jan. 20. "They were really happy and having a good time," a source revealed. "They were enjoying the food."

The couple exchanged vows at Diaz's Beverly Hills estate Jan. 5 in front of a crowd that included Judd Apatow, Drew Barrymore, Toni Collette, Leslie Mann, Will Kopelman and Lionel Richie. "We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends," they said.
