Kim Kardashian says she feels "very comfortable" with Bruce Jenner's transition.

Though some of her siblings are still processing what this means for their family, Kim tells Access Hollywood's Billy Bush that she "just recently met her" and that it was an "amazing" experience. "She looked beautiful."

"She was dressed up: beautiful makeup, beautiful hair," Kim says, calling Bruce "very, very beautiful." Seeing Bruce as a woman "felt really natural," she adds.

(At this time, Bruce is choosing to not live publicly in the media as a woman and will be referred to with male pronouns until he specifies otherwise.)

The Access Hollywood clips debuted on NBC's Today Monday.

Bruce opened up to each of his children individually, and his family later allowed cameras to capture their reactions for E!'s two part special, Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce. "The point of really sharing all of this is to really help other people going through the same thing," Kim, 34, explains.

"Everyone in the family has such a different emotion," says Kim, who has been Bruce's rock. "We all get back to acceptance and everyone supports him, but it's OK to have every emotion. There is this sense of death that people around feel, and he understands that, but he's not going anywhere. Sometimes [Kendall Jenner] and [Kylie Jenner] get emotional over that and feel like their dad's gone, but they understand that they've gained someone else that is the same person, although a little bit different." According to Kim, "It's just a new chapter."

Kim first learned that Bruce was keeping a secret from the family about 12 years ago when she caught him wearing women's clothing. "I just put my head down, ran into the house, and I remember I was literally shaking, packing and overnight bag to sleep at [Kourtney Kardashian]'s house," she tells Billy.

"I just remember thinking, 'Oh, my god! I've caught him with this secret and he didn't want me to see this,' so I just got out of there so fast. He called me 30 minutes later," she says. "I went to Kourtney's and I was crying and we were researching it online. We had no idea what any of this meant or what I saw."

When Bruce called, "He said, 'One day, we'll talk about this. I hope you're OK.' I said, 'Is everyone in the house OK?' I didn't know what it meant. He said, 'Yes, everyone's fine. Just don't tell anyone,'" Kim says.
