A single-family Weston home and a Back Bay condo each sold for over $3 million this week
Maybe not surprisingly, you can get a little more bang for your buck in Weston than in Boston’s Back Bay. An almost 7,000-square-foot home in Weston and a 1,600-square-foot condo in the Back Bay each sold for over $3 million this week.
A single-family home in Brookline and a condo in the South End also both got pretty close to the $3 million mark. Check them out.
157 Beaver Road, Weston
This five-bedroom, five-bathroom, two-half-bathroom home in Weston with 6,879 square feet of living space sold for $3,650,000 on November 18. Built this year on over an acre of land, the home also features a formal living room and dining room, quartzite countertops in a sleek kitchen, and French doors leading to a bluestone patio.
341 Marlborough St., Apt. 4, Back Bay, Boston
On Monday, this three-bedroom, three-bathroom, 1,618-square-foot condo in the Back Bay sold for $3,005,000. The unit underwent a gut rehabilitation in 2014, adding in lots of updates — such as a built-in sound system, custom Hunter Douglas blinds, and an alarm system — in conjunction with its historic charm. There is also direct elevator access, along with tandem parking for two.
195 Fisher Ave., Brookline
This six-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom Brookline home with 4,682 square feet of living space sold for $2,600,000 on November 18. The home is set on a corner lot and was built in 1885; it’s kept many of its period details. High ceilings, a formal dining room, and a large kitchen all make entertaining easy.
505 Tremont St., Unit 805, South End, Boston
On November 17, this two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 1,742-square-foot condo in a South End luxury building sold for $2,525,000.
