Yuri's Night at Great Lakes Science Center combines sci-fi costumes, cocktails and after-hours museum fun.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Get ready for a party that's out of this world. Great Lakes Science Center's, 601 Erieside Ave., annual Yuri's Night bash returns on Saturday, April 8. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 18.
The cosmic after-hours party offers access to the museum after dark. Live music from locals Tricky Dick and the Cover-Ups will serve as entertainment for the night, and an open bar will offer beer, wine, appetizers and small bites.
It wouldn't be the Science Center without getting a little galactic. Yuri's Night will have an astronaut trivia challenge and science demonstrations throughout the evening.
Costumes are encouraged, and those donning their best outer space and science fiction-themed outfits can compete for prizes in a costume contest. A scavenger hunt and balloon drop are also part of the festivities.
It's all in the name of a good cause. Money raised from the event help fund the museum's STEM education initiatives, day camp scholarships and other youth programs.
General admission tickets are $40 per person before February 1, $50 before March 1, $60 before April 8 or $70 at the door. VIP packages are also available for $100, which allows early access to the party, a VIP lounge with complimentary boozy beverages, food and free parking in the attached garage. Sober earthlings can purchase designated driver tickets for $40. Special discounts are available for Science Center members.
