We really are about to experience a whole new view.

Just a few hours after Michelle Collins was officially named a new co-host of The View, E! News has learned the daytime talk show is considering a group of contributors to be featured on a regular basis.

One of those contributors could be the one and only Sherri Shepherd! The 48-year-old veteran, who served as a co-host for seven years before leaving in 2014, is in talks to be a part of the show in some way.

"Who wouldn't be happier to sit next to Sherri Shepherd?" Collins told E! News Monday when the speculation first hit. "She's the funniest…I've never met her and would love to meet her and work with her."

Another familiar face being considered is Candace Cameron Bure who has been filling in as a co-host on and off in recent months.

Just last week, the Fuller House star made headlines when she got into a heated debate with co-host Raven-Symoné over an Oregon bakery that refused to make a cake for a lesbian wedding. Bure later revealed that she hugged it out with her co-host during a commercial break and agreed to disagree.

Molly Sims and Stacy London also round out the list of possible ladies joining the show as contributors.

While speculation continues to surround the ABC talk show, Collins is excited to officially start when season 19 begins in September.

"Michelle Collins brings a fantastic energy and a keen sense of humor to the program," creator and executive producer Barbara Walters said. "Michelle can be both outrageous and thoughtful. She is a welcome addition to The View panel with her intelligence, quick wit and vast knowledge of pop culture."

Collins' addition to the show full-time comes hot on the heels of current host Rosie Perez's exit announcement. Perez, who joined the show less than a year ago alongside Nicolle Wallace and Rosie O'Donnell as part of the season 18 reboot, will depart in August.
