World Cup: So this is it. It's down to two. Argentina vs. Germany. Who are you cheering for? The last time these two teams met in the WC final, Germany won (controversially) 1-0. Which team is more blessed? Pope Francis’ Argentina? Or Pope Benedict’s Germany?

Green House: While having beers with the president, Colorado governor Matt Anton asked Obama “Do you want to hit this?” and pushed a joint towards the most powerful man in the world. The president laughed but didn’t take him up on the offer.

NBA Free Agency: It looks like this painful, drawn-out process will soon be coming to an end. Strong reports out of NYC indicate that Carmelo will be staying with the Knicks. The other big shoe to drop will be Lebron, star of The Decision 2, and once he makes his choice, the other free agents should fall into place. Bosh will sign with the Rockets if Lebron doesn’t re-sign with Miami.
