Reservoir to Get Drained After Teen Pees in Water

Portland, Ore., officials plan to drain 38 millions of gallons of treated drinking water from the Mount Tabor Reservoir after a 19-year-old was caught on surveillance cameras urinating through the iron fence on Wednesday, water bureau officials said. The suspect and two others with him, ages 18 and 19, who were also caught trying to scale a fence, were cited for trespassing. Generally, urine in such a large volume of treated water poses little risk to the public, but an official said "customers have an expectation that their water is not deliberately contaminated."
