Drake sent Rihanna a message... on a billboard

Mark another development in the Drake-Rihanna relationship.

Rihanna has a lot going on in her world. She wrapped up the Anti World Tour’s European leg on Monday, and she will be honored Sunday at the MTV VMAs with the Video Vanguard Award. So “Work” collaborator Drake, along with the crew at label OVO Sound, put up a billboard.

“Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and everyone at OVO,” it reads.

Rih posted a photo of the message on Instagram with an appreciative response. “When he extra [heart emoji] [trophy emoji]!!” she wrote.

Fans should expect Rihanna to make waves at the VMAs when accepting the Vanguard award. Big waves. “I can tell you it’s going to be one of those holy crap VMA moments,” executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic told EW. “She’s not playing. She’s bringing it.”
