— -- One Missouri family gets super excited every year for Halloween and this year was no different. Their trophy costumes have won over the internet.

In a now-viral photo, Denise Hill and her three daughters, Denver, 5, Asten, 8, and Aria, 15, posed as different trophies, including best ballerina, best soccer player, best runner and best tennis player.

Hill, 40, told ABC News that it was a "last minute" decision.

"I'm a planner," Hill added, saying that usually she has her costume idea decided months in advance. But this year, she only started thinking about it the first week of October.

After looking online, Hill was inspired to dress up as trophies largely because the costumes didn't require her to buy anything new.

"I only had to buy the ballet shoes and the wristbands on my arms," she said.

It took the mother "three or four days" to create the golden looks, including spray-painting the clothes and athletic equipment along with making the trophy bases out of Ikea foot stools.

"I covered them with trash bags and took a rubber band and wrapped it," she recalled. "Then I sprayed card stock paper gold and cut it out, and wrote on it with a Sharpie."
