Dubai is known for its outrageous architecture, but this is something we haven't seen before. Completed in 2011, the Rostamani Maze Tower is the first of its kind. Not only is the multifunctional building the world's first, but also the world's tallest vertical maze, according to Guinness.

The 56-floor skyscraper towers 689 feet above the city, with both residential and office floors. Architects DAR Consult brought in acclaimed maze designer Adrian Fisher to project the incredibly complex maze. And to highlight the finished product, thousands of LED lights were installed, accentuating the maze's form.

Rebeca Sánchez, the light programmer who worked on the project, called it “the biggest challenge I ever had as a light director.” Thousands of LED strips were placed along the front and rear façades, each completely unique. Throughout the evening, the lights dance and change color, giving rhythm to the fantastic architecture.

Can you solve this vertical maze?
